Debrigarh Wildlife Sanctuary

Bison Fest • 24-26 March 2025 • Debrigarh Wildlife Sanctuary •

Tucked away in western Odisha, chilling right next to the shimmering Hirakud Reservoir, Debrigarh Wildlife Sanctuary isn’t just a forest—it’s a wild, breathing sonnet of nature sprawling across 350 square kms with thick sal forests, rocky hideouts, and sun-kissed grasslands. Every season paints Debrigarh in a different shade. It’s raw, rugged, and ridiculously beautiful—the kind of place where a gaur (Indian bison) flexes effortlessly, a leopard plays hide-and-seek like a pro, and sloth bears waddle around like they own the land.
